Life is full of financial choices and consequences.  Whether its your personal life or business life and especially if you are a business owner sometimes its hard to separate those.

Many financial choices both in your business and personal life have tax consequences.  They may be now, in the near future or distant future.  In the various articles you'll find here, we try to give advice, give examples of what to do and not to do and in general pass on things we have learned and think others might find useful.

Some examples given will be real life situations we have experienced or witnessed. Of course names will be changed for privacy.

These articles are general in nature for educational purposes and cannot be treated as formal tax advice.  Each person's and business tax situation is different and accordingly what is good advice for one person may not be the best advice for someone else and you should always seek the counsel of your tax advisor.
